Danish choreographer and dancer Mette Ingvartsen is a member of Volksbühne’s artistic team. She will start the first season with two new choreographies and a performative conference: 21 pornographies, to come (extended) and The Permeable Stage. They are the culmination of her work over the past five years, and explore the connection between sexuality, power and the body politics. Due to the increasing visibility of bodies in intimate situations and their media exposure, the boundaries between private and public are becoming blurred.
